Michael Brandon

Michael Brandon starred as Jerry Springer in the Award winning production of Jerry Springer The Opera at both the National Theatre and in the West End, for which he was nominated for an Olivier Award. He came to London in 1984 to star as Dempsey in Dempsey and Makepeace, not only a popular TV series, but also where he met Glynis Barber, his co-star, now his wife. He has starred in many acclaimed stage and television productions on both sides of the Atlantic, including works by David Mamet and Dennis Potter and co-starring with Al Pacino. His numerous film credits include the critically acclaimed The James Dean Story.
