Pete Postlethwaite

Pete Postlethwaite was born in Warrington in 1945. At the age of 24 he trained at the Bristol Old Vic, beginning a distinguished career on stage and screen. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance as Giuseppe Conlon in The Name of the Father (1993), and became one of Hollywood's A-list stars through his leading role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. He was made an OBE in the 2004 New Year's Honours List, and was well known for his support of libertarian politics. He died in January 2011, aged 64.

Guy Pratt

Since then he's played bass with everyone, from The Smiths, Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson and Madonna, through to Iggy Pop, The Pretenders and Echo and the Bunnymen. His live show was a success at 2005's Edinburgh festival, and he had a nationwide string of dates in 2006.

JoAnn Pugh-Gannon has been involved within the home sewing industry for many years, including a long career with Swiss Bernina, later known as Bernina of America, the Untied States importer of Swiss-made Bernina sewing machines and related products. As Vice-President of Marketing Software for Bernina, she was responsible for all dealer and consumer education, educational material, and Bernina University. In 1994 she began publishing sewing and craft books under the name of Sewing Information Resources.
