John was born and brought up in northeast of England, though he's lived in London for the past twenty years. He has been a designer, visualiser and art director but now focuses on creating children's books. His first two picture books were shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal, and he's also been shortlisted for the BBC Books-to-read-out-loud Awards.
Anna Kendall is the YA pseudonym of SF author Nancy Kress, who has won multiple awards for her novels, novellas and short stories. She lives in Seattle.

Today she sees patients in Sydney from both parts of the world and through her website talks with back-treating professionals and sufferers alike. Matthew Klein was born in New York City and went to Yale University. After graduation, Klein started several technology companies in Palo Alto, which, combined, raised tens of millions of dollars from investors. After the collapse of the dot com market, Klein moved to Westchester County, where he now runs a trading technology company and writes novels.
