Kylie Fitzpatrick was born in Denmark and grew up in England, America, and Australia. She has worked as an actress, as a researcher for documentary films and as a freelance script editor. She lives in Somerset with her partner and young daughter.
Adrian Flanagan

Adrian Flanagan was born in Nairobi, Kenya on 1 October 1960. He spent his early life in Africa and the Far East. After boarding school in England, he read medicine at King's College, London before taking time out to travel extensively around Sri Lanka on a motorbike. Adrian joined the army, going through the rigorous selection procedure for the Parachute Regiment, but left the officer-training academy at Sandhurst after dislocating his shoulder only to sustain a severe wrist injury in a motorbike accident. He later qualified in osteopathic medicine but his damaged wrist forced him to stop practice. For a time, Adrian worked as a freelance sports journalist, contributing to The Times, the Daily Telegraph, the Guardian and the Daily Mail. He started his own business in food distribution, primarily as a means to fund his central aspirations to sail around the world and to write. His first novel, Cobra, was published in 2001. Adrian has two sons and lives near Oxford. He is currently working on a new novel and planning his next expedition, a microlite flight around the coast of Australia.www.alphaglobalex.com
Barbara Flynn

Barbara Flynn began acting in her native Hastings whilst at school, and since leaving drama school has worked steadily across stage, film and television, creating and sustaining some memorable television characters.
Giles Foden

Giles Foden was born in Warwickshire in 1967 and grew up in Africa. He is the author of four novels, Last King of Scotland, Ladysmith, Zanzibar and Turbulence, and one work of non-fiction, Mimi and Toutou Go Forth. For five years he was assistant editor of the TLS, and was then Deputy Literary Editor at the Guardian. He's now Professor of Creative Writing at UEA. He is married to Matilda Hunt and lives in Norfolk.
Michael Curtis Ford

Michael Ford is 42 years old and is a translator and novelist. He has bachelor¿s degrees from the University of Washington and a graduate degree from Princeton. He speaks several languages and is an avid reader of the classics. He and his wife educate their two children at home.
C. S. Forester

Cecil Scott Forester was born in 1899 in Cairo and educated in England. He went to Hollywood during the opening years of World War II to help write and produce 'propaganda' films that would convince U.S. filmgoers that the they should take the side of the British and Allies in the War, which led to such films as Eagle Squadron (1941). He is most famous for his celebrated Hornblower series. He died in 1966.

Emilia Fox appeared in the BBC's PRIDE AND PRJUDICE whilst still at university, and has gone on to star in REBECCA, DAVID COPPERFIELD, BBC's 2009 MERLIN series and in 2012 starred as Lady Portia Alresford in UPSTAIRS DOWNSTAIRS. She also reads regularly on Radio 4 and has taken over the role as Dr Nikki Alexander in the TV series SILENT WITNESS. Emilia has read numerous audiobooks including the MAGICAL CHILDREN series, THE SWEETNESS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PIE by Alan Bradley and SECRETS OF THE TIDES by Hannah Richell for Orion.

Julia Frey

Julia Frey was educated in the United States, Mexico and France, and earned her Ph.D. from Yale University. An expert on nineteenth-century French literature and culture, she also trained for years in Paris as an artist and printmaker. She has taught at Yale and the University of Colorado, where she is Associate Professor of French. She divides her time between New York, Boulder and Paris.
