David Ebershoff

David Ebershoff is the author of THE ROSE CITY, PASADENA, THE 19TH WIFE and THE DANISH GIRL, which has been made into a film starring Academy Award-winner Eddie Redmayne and directed by the Academy Award-winning director of THE KING'S SPEECH, Tom Hooper. His books have been translated into twenty languages and honoured by the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the Lambda Literary Foundation and the American Library Association. He has taught writing at Princeton, NYU and Columbia, and was Vice President and Executive Editor at Random House for many years.
George Effinger

George Alec Effinger was born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1947. He attended Yale University, where an organic chemistry course disabused him of the notion of becoming a doctor. He had the opportunity to meet many of his SF idols thanks to his first wife, who was Damon Knight and Kate Wilhelm's babysitter. With their encouragement, he began writing science fiction in 1970. He published at least 20 novels and 6 collections of short fiction including WHEN GRAVITY FAILS and THE EXILE KISS. As well, he also wrote and published two crime novels, FELICIA and SHADOW MONEY. With his Budayeen novels, Effinger helped to found the Cyberpunk genre. He was a Hugo and Nebula award winner and a favorite amongst fellow SF writers.

She has appeared as a guest speaker on CNN, the BBC and Al Jazeera, and her essays on Egypt, the Islamic world, and women's rights have been published by the WASHINGTON POST, the GUARDIAN and the NEW YORK TIMES. Terry D. England (1949 - ) Terry D. England US journalist and author who began publishing work of genre interest with "Jason and the D'Jinn" for Pandora in 1986; his only SF novel to date is Rewind (1997).
John Erickson

John Erickson was an Honorary Fellow in Defence Studies and Professor Emeritus at the University of Edinburgh. He was a leading authority on the Soviet-German War and lectured on Soviet-German affairs at the universities of Oxford, St Andrews and Manchester as well as a number of American universities.
Christopher Evans

Christopher Evans is a British chemist, teacher and SF under his own name and a number of pseudonyms. In addition to writing, he edited the Other Edens anthology series with Robert Holdstock. He won the BSFA Award for Best Novel in 1994 with AZTEC CENTURY.
James Evans

James Evans completed a doctorate at Oriel College, Oxford, following a first-class degree and a Masters in Historical Research. He is a writer and producer of historical documentaries for the BBC and Channel 4, and the author of MERCHANT ADVENTURERS and EMIGRANTS. He lives in London with his wife and three children.
