Joe R Lansdale
Joe R. Lansdale is the winner of the British Fantasy Award, the American Horror Award, the Edgar Award, and six Bram Stoker Awards. He lives in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Jon Latimer studied Oceanography at University College, Swansea. He served for 16 years in the Territorial Army and was commissioned into the Royal Welch Fusiliers. He taught at the University of Wales, Swansea and wrote on a number of military and naval subjects, from the desert war in World War II to the war of 1812.
Jose Latour was born in 1940 in Havana, Cuba, where he won his first literary prize at the age of thirteen. World Series is his eighth novel and the second written in English. He is the vice president of the Latin American division of the International Association of Crime Writers. He has two sons and a daughter and lives in Spain with his wife.
Hans von Luck
Hans von Luck commanded one of Rommel's Panzer Divisions from 1939-44. He was awarded the German Cross in Gold and the Knight's Cross. He was captured by Russians in 1945 and held in a prisoner of war camp until 1950. He is married, with three sons.
