Greg Jenner is a public historian and author. He is the Historical Consultant to all seven series of CBBC's award-winning HORRIBLE HISTORIES, being solely responsible for the factual accuracy of over 1,600 sketches and 100 comedy songs with subject matter that has spanned the entirety of human history, and is the author of A MILLION YEARS IN A DAY. He has presented and featured on TV shows for the BBC, and written for BBC HISTORY MAGAZINE, HISTORY REVEALED MAGAZINE and THE HUFFINGTON POST.Greg Jenner is the Historical Consultant to CBBC's multi-award winning HORRIBLE HISTORIES. As well as contributing sketches and co-writing Stephen Fry's links for HORRIBLE HI, over the past four years he has been solely responsible for the factual accuracy of nearly one thousand comedy sketches . Greg studied at the University of York and, after dropping initial plans for a life in academia, has worked on historical documentaries and dramas for the past seven years. Formerly Assistant Editor of 'History Today' and 'BBC History' magazines, he now writes fulltime and leads battlefield tours of the western front. His film about the excavation of Wilfred Owen's dugout on the Somme, 'Journey to Hell' , directed by Catrine Clay, was shown on BBC 2's 'Ancestors' series in February 2004. He is currently writing a short biography of Owen, and a study of the Edwardian era.

Traudl Junge

Traudl Junge was a brewer's daughter born in 1920 in Munich. From the end of 1942 until April 1945 she was Hitler's private secretary. In 1942 she married one of Hitler's staff, Hans Junge who was killed a year later. After the war she was sent to a Russian prison camp and later returned to Germany to work as a secretary and a sub-editor. She died on February 10th, 2002 shortly after publication of her book.
