Lead WMS Analyst, Group IT

What you’ll be doing

Within Hachette IT, based at Hachette UK Distribution (Hely Hutchinson Centre) in Didcot, you will be asked to monitor, maintain and provide 2nd line support for the Warehouse Management System. As the Lead Analyst, you will also be required to provide supervision and shift management for a small team of WMS Analysts. You will be expected to monitor the number of support tickets assigned to the WMS team, liaise with colleagues, suppliers and customers and escalate as necessary to ensure that tickets are actioned and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction as quickly as possible.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for an excellent team leader, possessing the ability to work with all levels of the Distribution business and IT. You must demonstrate trustworthiness, integrity and honesty and can accept feedback from others positively.

A strong understanding of Distribution methodologies, processes and guidelines, along with a proven track record in an operational role within an organisation is essential, as is the ability to communicate & manage expectations at all levels.

Hachette Distribution’s business is time critical, therefore you must be able to   work to tight deadlines, be able to focus on the present and manage your own tasks as well as your teams accordingly.
