Si and Dave focus on recipes that can be rustled up in less than 30 minutes, offering healthy variations on favourites such as kedgeree, curries, stir fries and omelettes. You will use it again and again and reap the benefits of a reduced waistline, too.
What we cooked: White bean and tuna fishcakes and Raspberry and orange soufflés. Their way of making fishcakes was much easier than the traditional method. Using cannellini beans instead of potatoes was a clever way to cut down on calories and prep time, and they had a good texture and lovely lemony flavour. The soufflés were light, fruity and delicious. Both were easy yet looked impressive - ideal if you have people coming over. Best for busy cooks who want to make quick, healthy meals that don't taste like 'diet food'.
The Hairy Bikers have really pulled a fast one, cooking up delicious 30-minute recipes that are healthy, low-cal and really satisfying
