1. Be professional
2. Do not talk about the past
3. Do not fall in love all over again…

When Safiya’s life implodes in front of her she knows she only has one option: bury her pride and reach out to her family for help. It’s her last chance for a fresh start or a job at the very least.

Murad has buried his head in his career and building a name for himself. It’s finally working…until he’s asked to renovate a crumbling villa in Italy with the woman who broke his heart all those years ago.

With the project on the line, Safiya and Murad come up with some simple rules to keep it professional. But when old feelings resurface, the two begin to wonder if some rules are worth breaking…

Reviews

Rafi has expertly crafted a moving and beautiful novel about the transformative nature of true love. From the very first chapter, I was torn between wanting to fly through this in one sitting and wanting to savour every chapter, it was that good. Ex-lovers with a complicated history stuck together in Italy already sets the stage for an enjoyable read, and while the romance is superbly well done, with ample angst, emotion, and tension, Rafi doesn't stop there. She deftly explores other elements, such as healing from trauma, rediscovering yourself, and how it's never too late for things to change for the better. An absolute knock-out. I can't recommend it enough!

It was so uplifting; a heartfelt story of love, second chances and learning to believe in yourself again. Safiya is such a strong heroine, Murad is a wonderful hero, and the setting made me want to run away to Italy immediately. There was a great balance between hilarious banter and emotional depth, and I was rooting for Safiya and Murad to get together.

Seven Summers Later was a delight to read. It had everything I love in a romance - second chances, forbidden love and a villa in Italy to make your heart sigh with happiness. I highly recommend it!
